Technacy officially within the GSMA: the world’s leading organisation of mobile communications operators

Technacy has officially joined GSMA – Global System for Mobile Communication – global organization that unifies the mobile ecosystem to discover, develop and deliver fundamental innovation for positive business environments and social change.

Technacy is the fourteenth reality among Italian companies and mobile operators. It is therefore part of the group formed by the industry leaders of our country members of the association: Vodafone Italia s.p.a, Iliad, Telecom Italia, Wind, Fastweb, Sparkle, Digi Italy, Lucamobile, R&D Communications, Tismi BV, Agile Telecom, Telit Communication. While always, at the end of November, to join GSMA were the US computer giant IBM, the French TLC and Orange and the social network TikTok.

GSMA was founded in 1987 and today is made up of more than 750 mobile operators from every country of the 5 continents and 400 member companies. Every year it organizes four major events around the world: Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Las Vegas, Shanghai and one rotating in one of the capitals of the nations of the African continent.
